WWI Veteran published this collection in 1975. He suffered a grave injury during WWI but returned to become a School Inspector for the government of Manitoba. Hard Copy exists in our family archive. We do not know the illustrator, L.J. McVarish.

We are the Dead
We do not know what years these were written, only that Uncle Jim
published them when he was well into his eighties.
Did he lift a line or did he hear their call to give voice?
